WORLD SCLERODERMA DAY REST IN PEACE TO THE WOMAN WHO GAVE ME LIFE. Scleroderma is a rare autoimmune disease that causes the body to produce too much collagen leading to hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues. It can be limited to the skin or affect internal organs like the lungs, heart, kidneys, and digestive system. #worldsclerodermaday #sclerodermaawareness #sclerodermaawarenessmonth #sclerodermaloss #faceofscleroderma #fyp

One of the common first signs in scleroderma patients is Reynauds phenomenon. Your fingers, and sometimes your toes turn a pale, white or blue sometimes red. Here are some of the photos that I have collected from the past up to now That I have captured while my fingers were almost purple and pale white. this was definitely one of my first symptoms before the skin tightening and color changes. ssclerodermaawarenessmonthssclerodermarraynaudsa#autoimmunedisease

To my Mom

Wednesday 9th Sep
Some may know that Isabel (my mother) was diagnosed with scleroderma around 2009 after rounds and rounds of testing to figure out what was going on with her body. To finally get a diagnosis and find out your too far gone for treatments and too far gone to be part of trial clinics too far gone for medical team to help slow things down. She was ultimately put in hospice care. Scleroderma was aggressive with my mother and took her life. I walk for her! I fight for her! Most importantly I’m fighting for myself with her by my side!
