Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page to support this Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma event!

In March of 2021, after experiencing very scary health symptoms that were progressing so rapidly and severely, my husband Denny and I decided to travel to the Mayo Clinic for answers.
I’ll never forget our meeting with the Rheumatologist when she told me; “you have Scleroderma. It’s a progressive disease, but we don’t have a way to predict how it will progress for you. And there is no cure.”
Prior to my diagnosis, I had never heard of Scleroderma, but now 5 short years later, it’s turned my life completely upside down.
Living with a rare and significantly life altering disease has been very difficult for me and my husband. But I decided early on to fight back and give back by working to spread awareness so that we can find a cure for myself and others. In 2023 I decided that although I have Scleroderma, it wasn’t going to have me.
I began volunteering for the National Scleroderma Foundations, Upper Great Lakes Chapter. And am proud to serve as the Volunteer State Lead for Wisconsin.
When you join my team and/or make a monetary donation, you’re helping to raise funds and spread awareness for this incredibly challenging and devastating disease.

Option 1: The Full Experience (Join the Team)
Click “Join Us”
Register to walk! This is our main goal. We want to see a sea of teal colored Scleroderma t-shirts in the box seats. It's a night of community, awareness and fun.
Option 2: Support from the Sidelines
Click “Donate” and complete the form.
If you can't make it to the ballpark for World Scleroderma Weekend, you can still help me reach my fundraising goal. Every gift, no matter the size, directly supports the Upper Great Lakes Chapter of the National Scleroderma Foundation’s mission to advance medical research, promote disease awareness, and provide support and education to people with scleroderma, their families, and support networks.
Thank you so much for visiting my team fundraising page and supporting me and Denny for this Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Ball Park Event.
We deeply appreciate your generosity, support and encouragement.
Please consider sharing this page with friends and family who may also want to support. Together, we can raise awareness, support those living with scleroderma, and bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
Cheers!
Cami
