Join Linda's Legacy Team for a Night at the Ballpark!

Linda's Legacy honors our mom, Linda Peterson, and the incredible strength she showed throughout her seven-year battle with scleroderma. Though we lost her on February 15, 2024, her spirit continues to lead our team. We invite you to join us on the field during World Scleroderma Weekend to celebrate her life, support those still fighting, and step out toward a cure in her name.
The Main Event: Eat. Walk. Watch. Celebrate
When you register to walk with Linda's Legacy, your registration is an all-access pass to a full evening of fun. We want our team to be the biggest presence at the park!
Your Walk Registration Includes:
-The Walk: A meaningful stroll directly on the ball field.
-The Ceremony: A special mission-focused ceremony at home plate.
-Official Gear: A Scleroderma awareness t-shirt and swag bag for every participant.
-VIP Seating: Box seating in our designated "Linda's Legacy" community section.
-Dinner: An all-you-can-eat dinner during the event and two drink tickets.
-Grand Finale: A post-game fireworks show to celebrate our hard work!
Two ways to Make an Impact:
Option 1: The Full Experience (Join the Team)
Click “Join Us”
Register to walk! This is our main goal. We want to see a sea of Scleroderma t-shirts in the box seats. It's a night of community, remembrance, and fun that Linda would have loved.
Option 2: Support from the Sidelines
Click “Donate” and complete the form.
If you can't make it to the ballpark for World Scleroderma Weekend, you can still help us reach our fundraising goal. Every gift, no matter the size, directly supports the Upper Great Lakes Chapter of the National Scleroderma Foundation’s mission to advance medical research, promote disease awareness, and provide support and education to people with scleroderma, their families, and support networks.
Thank you so much for visiting our Team Fundraising page in support of this Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Ball Park Event. My sister and I deeply appreciate your generosity and encouragement. Please consider sharing this page with friends and family who may also want to support. Every dollar is a tribute to our mom's strength.
Together, we can raise awareness, support those living with scleroderma, and bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
