Jewel's Gems aka DANCE Fighters

This year we are honoring our dear friend and fellow scleroderma warrior, Jewel Venhuizen. Jewel has been a member of our North Metro Support Group for many years and she lost her fight in February this year. Jewel was always so inspirational with her strength, courage, self-advocacy and on-going independence ... she kept on traveling to visit family even when it was not easy to do so requiring oxygen and wheels to get around!  Always up for attending in person support group meetings and volunteering at both the annual MN events, Stepping Out to Find a Cure and the Fall Conference, Jewel brought her bright smile and laughter lighting up the space. We will miss her dearly.
